Local Playboy Playmate Arrested At OIA
ORLANDO, Fla. – A Playboy Playmate and local college graduate was arrested at Orlando International Airport Monday for allegedly carrying a firearm in a place prohibited by law.
Police said they arrested Shanna McLaughlin, 26, because she had a revolver in her duffel bag. She was booked on a flight to Los Angeles.
According to an Orlando Police Department report, when the Transportation Security Administration employee saw what appeared to be a handgun on the X-ray machine and questioned McLaughlin, she stated it belonged to her boyfriend, and she did not know it was in the bag.
Authorities said the revolver was loaded.

An investigator said McLaughlin has a valid permit to carry a concealed weapon. She later bonded out of the Orange County Jail.
McLaughlin made news in 2010 when she participated in a controversial photo session in a University of Central Florida locker room.
