Motley Crue, Kiss bring ‘The Tour’ to DTE Music Theatre Sept. 5
Rock road warriors Mötley Crüe and Kiss have joined forces for a summer tour, and the tour — dubbed simply “The Tour” — hits DTE Energy Music Theatre Sept. 5, promoters announced Tuesday.
Tickets for The Tour — what, they didn’t like the sound of Mötley Kiss? — go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. Prices are TBA.
The Tour launches July 20 outside of Washington, D.C. and wraps up its 40-date trek Sept. 23 in Hartford, Conn. In addition to the DTE show, it will also play the Allegan County Fair Sept. 11; tickets for that show go on sale May 5.
For the Crüe, this will be the group’s fourth trip to DTE in five years. Kiss last played DTE in 2010, and before that hadn’t performed at the Clarkston venue since 2004.
